Aluminum with Insulated Holes

As aluminium is a metallic conductor, components cannot be assembled on this type of board with conventional 'plated through holes' (PTH's) techniques.  

Zubelzu technology overcomes this, thereby ensuring no electrical short circuits between components, by applying a special insulation at the location of the PTH's.
